Week at Maxis

This week at Maxi’s the children have been busy decorating our windows with Tour De Yorkshire bunting and their pictures/paintings of bicycles and the teams shirts. The children have enjoyed learning about the Tour De Yorkshire and are excited that it is coming to Selby and York tomorrow!
Some of our older children have been reading our Change for Life books and completing MOT tests to see how healthy their eating and exercise habits are.

The children have done lots of playing in the garden this week, they have been skipping, balancing on tyres, blowing and popping bubbles, playing basketball and playing in the sand tray with shells.

The latest news on how are caterpillars are- they have now all but one started forming cocoons and hopefully by next week they will be ready to set up home in the net house and we can start decorating their house with lots of lovely flowers for when they emerge from the cocoons. The children have been fascinated to see them forming cocoons and have watched them everyday to see how many caterpillars are left.
